I’m building Human Behavior (YC X25). It’s AI that watches your session replays, finds your bugs, and fixes them.

We’re a team of eight. We raised a $5M seed led by General Catalyst, with Paul Graham, Vercel and YC. Our paper, MELISSA, got into NeurIPS 2025.

Before that, we built Dough, accounting software for online sellers. It got 6K+ users, mostly from a Discord. We sold it to Employer.com in 2025.

Before that, I studied math at Stanford. I picked math because it had the fewest requirements. After freshman year I raised $50K from OVO Fund to run a hacker house. I made lifelong friends there and met my co-founders. I never went back.

I occasionally write, and I have OCD about pixels. Don’t believe me?

Background

In high school I tried every competition I could find: AIME (math), USABO (biology, top 50 in the US), USAAAO (astronomy), Envirothon (nature). I liked biology the most. So I spent three years on iGEM, a synthetic biology competition. I led a team of 25. We raised money from Qualcomm, iGEM’s Impact Grant and the San Diego Supercomputer Center. We borrowed a lab at the J. Craig Venter Institute. We flew to Paris to present. We won gold and Highest Honors.

On the side I did research at UCSD and Scripps Research. I built DIANE, a model that spots types of breast cancer. It won a Grand Award at ISEF 2022 in Atlanta.
